The Cayman Islands Investment Bureau is affiliated with a variety of local and international organizations.
The World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) was established in 1995 and is registered as a non-governmental organization (NGO) in Geneva, Switzerland. WAIPA acts as a forum for investment promotion agencies (IPAs) to provide networking opportunities and facilitate the exchange of best practices in investment promotion. Membership is open to all agencies whose prime function is to promote any country or territory for investment.
The Institute of Business Consulting is the professional body for all consultants and business advisers in the United Kingdom. Designed to raise standards of professional practice in support of better business performance, the Institute provides a development path for the profession, supported by high quality resources and a recognised qualification route.
The Cayman Angel Investor Network (CAIN) is an invitation-only investment network made up of business leaders in the Cayman Islands, successful entrepreneurs and other like minded individuals, who have an interest in stimulating Caymanian entrepreneurship. CAIN members are willing to provide investment capital, strategic advice and mentoring to early stage companies to enable these primarily small businesses to achieve market leadership in their chosen markets. CAIN Members are also willing to investigate investment into existing businesses that require growth/development funding.
A regional partnership of organizations and legal entities originating from both the private and public sector, which are actively engaged in the development, support and promotion of their respective SME (Small Medium Enterprise) sectors. All of regional partners are located within the Caribbean and belong to Overseas Country Territories (OCT), Africa-Caribbean-Pacific (ACP) and French Oversea Territories.
